The children were extremely excited to discover ‘half a dinosaur egg’ over lunchtime in the playground. They were extremely gentle with it to ensure they didn’t break it but were sad to find the baby dinosaur had ‘hatched’ and they were unable to find it. We discussed what the children would do if they lost a pet before using google to look at examples of lost and missing posters and talked about the information needed on them. The children then got to work, busy drawing and writing some fantastic posters. They loved going round the school to display their posters, ensuring they explained to everybody the met on the way exactly what had happened and what they should do if they saw a baby dinosaur. They even told the post man who was delivering the mail as we went through the office! Good work Dolphins!
